Bachelorette Party Games: Start the Fun at Home

Your best friend is getting married and you are the maid (matron) of honor. What an honor that is! The only problem is that you are not sure how to plan the bachelorette party. Listed are a few games that are guaranteed fun! Please start the bachelorette party at home so your guests feel more comfortable and can get acquainted. If you decide totake the party out on the town later, you can reflect back on the fun activities from earlier in the evening!

Guess The Nuts

1 sturdy wooden hanger,
1 small salami or pepperoni,
1 pair men's cotton y-front underwear,
large safety pins,
whole walnuts,
needle and thread

Sew the leg holes and y-front of the underwear closed. Pin them on the wooden hanger using the safety pins. Fill the underwear with the walnuts making sure to count how many you put in. Place a small salami or pepperoni down the front of the underwear. When the guests arrive have them guess how many nuts are in the underwear. Encourage the players to feel the nuts! Leave the nut filled underwear hanging up for the remainder of the party, as it makes a great party decoration! The closest guess below the actual number, wins! The sausage and walnuts can be eaten at a later date!

Tape the Shape on Her Man

1 posterboard,
multi colored construction paper, scissors, clear tape, markers, 1 blindfold,
1 enlarged picture of the grooms head

On the posterboard, draw a picture of a sexy man's body from the thigh area up to and including his neck, but leave out his male member. Tape the picture of the grooms head onto the neck. Try to make this proportional, but if it's not, sometimes it's even more funny! Tape the poster to the wall at waist level.

Hand each player a piece of construction paper and have her cut out a shape of a male member. Make sure she writes her name on the back. Blindfold the first player. Fold down the square end of her playing piece and attach a loop of tape to it.Put the other end in her mouth. Spin her around 3 times and have her get on her knees to crawl over to the poster. Have her press her mouth up against the poster until her playing piece sticks. She must not use her hands to feel the poster. The player who is closest to being anatomically correct, wins! This is the big girl version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey! Wear the game pieces as name tags later in the evening.

Cucumber Race

1 cucumber per player,
1 maraschino cherry per player,
2 cans whipped cream

Divide the players into 2 equal teams. Choose one person from each team to be a captain. Seat the two captains across the room with one cherry per player and a can of the whipped cream. Have the rest of the team line up on the other end of the room and give one cucumber to each player. To begin, the first players in each line place their cucumbers between their thighs so the cucumber is horizontal to the floor. Have the players race down to their captain. The captain places some whipped cream on the end of the cucumber and places the cherry in the whipped cream. The player races back to the starting line, balancing the cherry on the cucumber. Then it is the next players turn. Continue until each player has a turn. The first team finished, wins! If a player drops her cucumber or her cherry falls off, she must start over. This game promotes team spirit!

These games are so much fun and are a great way to get the party started in the right direction!

Marble Sculptures Through History

Marble sculptures have been the medium of choice for fine art pieces throughout history. Marble is valued as a medium for sculpture because of its fine texture, its sheen and for its ability to display fine details without cleaving or crumbling. The cost of marble has limited this medium in the past to pieces commissioned by rich patrons, however, today this medium is more affordable and it is accessible to a variety of artists from Europe to the Philippines.

One of the most famous marble sculptures in the world is the Pieta. The Pieta was created by Michelangelo in the late 15th century. It has dimensions of 164 inches by 76.8 inches by 68.5 inches. This sculpture depicts the Virgin Mary holding the limp body of Jesus Christ. It follows the pyramidal style of sculpture that was popular during this period. You can tell it has a pyramidal style by simply looking at the piece. You can see that the head of the Virgin Mary makes the apex point of the pyramid and each side of the sculpture slopes down to the base making a pyramid shape.

Modern marble sculptures can be abstract, realistic or even mixed medium. The price of the marble sculpture is going to depend on the quality of the marble, the popularity of the artist and the design itself. When you shop for a sculpture make sure that it is right for you before you buy it. Look for a sculpture that truly speaks to you, or that will be appropriate for its intended use. If you are looking for a decorative piece for your home you will want to browse through the work of several artists before deciding on which one to take home with you.

How To Make Big Money Online

It is amazing how the most effective way to do anything is usually so simple. Making big money online is no exception to this rule; kids are doing it all the time. All you have to do is find a way of getting some reasonable amount of traffic heading in the direction of your site.

Then you will need to carefully select the affiliate programs that you would like to use on your site to enable you to make big money online. While it is advisable to go for affiliate programs that have been recommended to you, it will be difficult for you to avoid testing each and every affiliate program you come across so as to be sure that is the sort of program that will make you big money online.

Once you have accomplished this step, all you will need to do is find a way to generate enough traffic to make your affiliate programs pay the big money you are looking to generate online.

Now although there are many ways of getting traffic to a site including SEO (search engine optimization) which will cost you nothing if you have the skills, the most reliable way of generating traffic when a site is still new or has not reached a certain level of traffic is by using paid means. More so when the source of paid traffic is affordable. For instance there are some effective classified ads that can generate tons of traffic for you at a price that you will hardly believe.

Discover the easy way to to make big money online for you or effective free advertising techniques.

Explain How Candle is Made?

Candles nowadays are not an essential product in our daily life. But in recent times demand for candles has increased substantially. Candles are nowadays considered as works of art, to be proudly displayed in the house. Varieties of candles are pouring into the market such as colored candles, scented candles, shells, bubbles, shaped candles, candle embellishments with beads and many more. With new techniques and innovative ideas candle making is really blossoming.

Candle making is an age-old art. Candles are manufactured in multiple ways. It can be produced through dipped, rolled, molded, layered or sculptured process. It is a time consuming process but the manufacturing costs are low. The ingredients and equipments that are required to manufacture candles are given below:

Paraffin Wax: This is the main constituent of candles.
Melting System: The wax is melted in this system.
Thermometer: Thermometer measures the temperature of the wax. A special thermometer, which has a covering scale of 38C-177C, called Candy Thermometer, is used to measure the temperature of wax.
Scales: Scales measure the amount of water and wax.
Ladle and Spoons: These are used for stirring and pouring wax.
Wick: In the market there are a variety of wicks available for different sizes and types of candles. Nowadays wicks are manufactured after a chemical treatment. It helps wicks to burn longer and brighter.
Color Dyes and Stearic Acid: Wax is naturally soft. So stearic acid is used to provide solidity to the candle. It also helps the candle to shrink so that candles can release from their molds easily. Color dyes are used to provide colors in the candle.
Molds: Molds come in different shapes and sizes. The manufacturer can choose the one they want.

Method: Take a suitable wick for the mold. Suspend the wick in the center of the mold. In a pot dissolve stearic acid and color dye. Then heat the wax. When the temperature reaches 130 degrees the paraffin starts to melt. When the temperature reaches 190 degrees combine the stearic mixture with paraffin. Stir and blend them well at the maintained temperature of 190 degrees. Pour the mixture in the mold and let it be cooled. When it cools remove it from the mold. And your candle is ready.

Home Remedies for Ear Wax Removal

There are several suggested home remedies for ear wax removal, but some of them are quite dangerous. Follow my instructions for a safe and effective ear wax removal.

Ear wax

Ear wax is produced by glands in the ear canal and it's job is to clean, moisten and protect the canal. Usually, ear wax is produced in small quantities and emerges naturally from the ear. If wax is produced in larger than normal quantities, it may cause a blockage with feeling of blockage, itchiness and sometimes hearing loss. Since the ear canal is a self-cleansing organ, under normal circumstances it needs no special attention.

Home remedies for ear wax removal

If you have a need for cleaning the ear canal regularly, use a sea water ear-spray daily.

NEVER use a cotton bud, hair grip or finger to remove wax from your ear. They simply compacts the wax, making it hard.

The safest and tested method is:

Ear wax dissolving with PARAFFIN OIL (or other mineral oil) in combination with warm water irrigation

  1. Obtain paraffin oil (or other mineral oil) at any drugstore.
  2. Warm about 2-3 tablespoons (e.g.over a candle) a little above body temperature.
  3. Fill an eye dropper with the warm oil.
  4. Lie on your side, with the ear to be de-waxed up.
  5. Drop a few drops of warm oil into the ear.
  6. Lie still for about 5 minutes.
  7. Get up and empty oil into the sink.

Do this procedure the following day or two. This will soften the wax, may even dissolve it completely.

  1. Now warm some water just above body temperature.
  2. Flush your ear with warm water, this will bring out the undissolved wax.
You may rinds the ear canal with diluted apple cider vinegar solution afterwards, in order to replace natural pH. Perhaps you have heard about the Hydrogen Peroxide method for dissolving ear wax plugs. It can be dangerous if you have a sensitive ear canal or punctured ear drum. H2O2 is a very strong substance may be too strong to put in contact with the highly delicate ear drum. So, I don't recommend it for home usage. Consult this problem with an ENT specialist.

Inaction Is The Greatest Risk Of All - Stop Thinking! Start Acting! Watch How Much You Accomplish!

Have you ever sat at your desk and began to think about all that was on your task list, all that is on your to-do list, your to-not-do list and wondered where to begin? What do I outsource, what do I do first, who will understand what is delayed?

Recently I was in a seminar where the Multi-Million dollar speaker, Hans Johnson made a statement that at first ruffled my intellectual feathers but later created for me a laser-sharp focus in the way I run my business. He said, Thinking can kill you! Procrastination, indecision, taking time to think about, consider, contemplate and re-evaluate could kill you! Stop thinking! Do something! Pick up the phone, get to work, if you make a mistake, forget about it, do something else, whatever you do take action!

Action is the key and yet we live in a society where people hide behind their factual memorization of information and their regurgitation of academia until we are all so intoxicated on our knowledge that no one is accomplishing anything! Inaction is typically present when there is confusion and to take one good hard look at our nation we can see some root issues of why we might be where we are at today.

When is the last time you looked at a list of prospects if you are in sales and rather than trying to figure out who you wanted to call first, what you should say, how you should say it you just picked up the phone and began dialing it out? Imagine where your ratios would be if you just took action everyday for over an hour straight.

When is the last time you sat rehearsing and cursing and evaluating your thoughts if you are in copywriting or marketing and you just set aside all the thinking and began to type, or record or speak or do something to get you to your goal?

Action is the key. Theres a popular book out called BLINK and it teaches that the first thought we have is usually the right one, the first inclination we have usually is the right one- imagine if the first thing you set out to do each day you actually accomplished, would that fuel or frustrate the rest of your day? Imagine if just 10% of all college graduates actually took action to get in front of one prospective place to work each day what kind of career could they land in their first year?

Stop thinking and start acting and even better, start tracking where the action is getting you!

The action of writing this article was a big step of faith for me and it was a big step towards no longer just thinking about where I wanted to be in the next 5 years. You see, during the last 28 months I have worked at home for a direct marketing company in the health and wellness field. I have prospected, closed, trained and duplicated until I was blue in the face! I broke records, took a failing track record in my own business and created results that made my head spin- my goal was to be debt free and we are, my focus was to be the best and I did become that in a lot of aspects- however there has been a writer inside of me since I was 5 years old that was begging to come out. Remembering that it was my 3rd grade teacher who told my mother that Id write one day for a living and rehearsing the hundreds of times I have heard that in over 20 years took me to a place of personal action on my own life.

Just last week I took a on the side Copywriting business to the position of creating a real-live company for myself. I enrolled in the AWAI 6-figure copywriting course. Cutting my direct marketing hours down to just 4 hours per week to protect attrition and keep the income high I made a commitment, took action, committed to work on my writing and my skills 20 hours per week. And here I am, taking action, submitting an article to ETR for review.

Action hasnt always been my normal mode of operation. Talking to people about what I might do someday, reading about what it might be like to take action one day and planning it all out for when I did finally take action has been a normal mode-of-operation for me for years.

Dreaming and contemplating and considering and processing. And then the speaker at the seminar hit me between the eyes. Take action! If you dont take action it could kill you. It could kill your dreams, your future, your chances at really seeing what you could become.

Take action, and watch where you could end up in the next 30 days!

Treasure Hunting - The Unusual Ways

When you think of treasure hunting, maybe gold coins and precious stones come to mind, but it doesn't end there. You can start in your own attic to see what treasures you find. Then you can check out some of the more unusual ways to go treasure hunting.

Diamonds In Parking Lots

Temperature changes getting in and out of cars and buildings cause diamonds to come loose from their settings. Because of this, parking lots are one of the most common places diamondare lost. An older couple I read about became experts at telling the difference (from a distance!) between the sparkle of a diamond and bits of glass. Now they regularly take early morning walks in mall parking lots for a second income.

Desert Treasure Hunting

An old Native American we met at a hot spring in Arizona showed us how to find arrowheads and metates (used for grinding corn or mesquite beans) in the desert. They're hundreds of years old. He sold one of his metates for $200 during a yard sale, but for non-Native Americans this may be illegal. Check with authorities on this one.

Treasure In Vacuum Cleaner Dust

In California a man took the shag carpet from an a old theater being remodeled, saving the owners the cost of disposal. During the thirties the theater was a place where the wealthy went. Like all of us, the wealthy lose things, but perhaps more valuable things.

When he cut up and carefully shook out the old carpet , he found over $2,000 worth of precious stones, rings, and coins. Then, wondering what's caught by vaccuum cleaners, the man arranged to take the full cleaner bags from several cleaning companies each week. They save disposal costs, and he regularly finds coins and small jewelry when he digs through the dirt.

Natural Treasures

My wife and I have sold sea shells we collected from Florida beaches, giant pine cones from California, and rocks we collected all over the country. We sold them at flea markets and craft shows, as is, or made into something crafty. I once met a man who sold "burls" (unusual growths on trees) for as much as $200 each.

Treasure Hunting In The Garbage

Our city collects large junk for free during a week each spring. We see good bicycles, furniture, games, toys, chairs, and more, in front of almost every house. Several people come with trucks and trailers to pick out things to sell at flea markets or auctions. It's a regular source of income for some of them. I'm sure this happens in other cities too.

Treasures In The River

Both kids and criminals throw things off of bridges routinely. It's a quick way to get rid of evidence. As a child I saw bicycles in rivers several times. I read about a man that makes a living using magnets and other tools to retrieve guns, money, and other things of value from the bottom of murky rivers, near bridges.

These are just a few of the ways to go treasure hunting. Will you make much money? Maybe, but probably not. I can tell you though, that it is a thrill to hear the metal detector start beeping, even if I do only find a quarter in the sand.

Steve Gillman has been studying every aspect of money for thirty years. You can find more treasure hunting ideas, and more interesting and useful information on his website; http://www.UnusualWaysToMakeMoney.com
